Zicree/Simkins Podcast

One of the new podcasts that have been started up recently is The Zicree Simkins Podcast hosted by writer/producers Marc Scott Zicree and David Simkins. Both have worked on a number of SFTV shows with Zicree writing for various forms of Star Trek, Sliders, and a host of other shows with Simkins working on Charmed, Dresden Files, Lois and Clark and The Adventures of Brisco County Jr to name just a few.

They are planning on interviewing writers and showrunners and in the first set of episodes have already talked with Rockne S. O'Bannon, Robert H. Wolfe, Brad Kern & John Wirth, as well as a few others.

Zicree is currently nominated for a Nebula Script award with Michael Reaves for their Star Trek New Voyages (now rebranded Star Trek Phase II) episode World Enough and Time (although there is some trepidation about whether it qualifies for the award - a ruling is expected soon from SFWA). Look for it to likely end up on the Dramatic Presentation: Short Form hugo ballot (for which I need to get my nominations in ASAP).
